What is RoHS?
RoHS is the acronym for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance.

What are the restricted materials mandated under RoHS?
The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).

Why is RoHS compliance important?
The restricted materials are hazardous to the environment and pollute landfills, and are dangerous in terms of occupational exposure during manufacturing and recycling.

How are products tested for RoHS compliance?
Portable RoHS analyzers, also known as X-ray fluorescence or XRF metal analyzers, are used for screening and verification of RoHS compliance.

Which companies are affected by the RoHS Directive?
Any business that sells applicable electronic products, sub-assemblies or components directly to EU countries, or sells to resellers, distributors or integrators that in turn sell products to EU countries, is impacted if they utilize any of the restricted materials.

432FVLP High Temperature Fiberglass Panel Mount Feed Through Terminal blocks

10MM

Our LMI High Temperature Fiberglass Panel Mount Feed Through Terminal blocks are available in 1 - 12 poles. The Terminal Blocks may be cut down to any size that is required. The Terminal Block has a Pitch of 10 mm and is able to handle high voltages of up to 600V using high current levels up to 15 Amps. Each connector is very versatile and can flexibly accept from 20 to 14 AWG wire. This connector is solidly constructed and has been rigorously tested and is approved by the UL/CSA and IMQ/VDE.

All of these connectors are Dead Front/Touch Safe providing added safety to the user.

These connectors are ideal for feed through panel mount applications and widely used in electrical and electronic implementations.

Available with or without a wire guard.

The connectors are compact, easy to use double-row tubular screw terminal strips that are a safe, cost effective alternative to barrier strips.

Each Terminal Block is available with or without wire guards. The screw connection from LMI connector is currently in use in millions of applications all over the world and all share the following properties:
• Designed to provide Safety and to be Secure
• Easy to understand operation
• Proven reliability against screws becoming loose from their connections
• LMI products perform superbly with either solid or stranded wire
• Can be easily cut down to size depending on the application requirements.
Simply strip the wire, insert, and tighten the screw. Eurostrips feature tubular screw clamps, with wire protectors, and recessed screws and contacts to prevent shocks and shorts. The stainless steel wire protectors exhibit excellent memory and the wire stop insures the most efficient connection.
The connector block, is ruggedly built and is rated to withstand up to 150 degrees centigrade. This connector is very safe and fabricated from the material: PA66 which has a flame ability rating UL94V2.

The connectors are panel mounted using screws to secure them to a panel or chassis. The connector screw size is M3 and seated using 6 inch pounds of torque.
